Fargesia robusta ‘Campbell’ is a form of Robusta with smaller leaves than other forms of robusta. Like most forms of robusta, it has a very upright stature making it a good choice to create a privacy screen in a very narrow area.
Robusta originates from Sichuan Province, China, where it grows at elevations of over 8000 feet. The leaf sheaths are white and slow to drop creating a two tone appearance to the culms. Large clumps of robusta are stunning. This form of Fargesia robusta is named after Dr. Julian Campbell.
