Borinda Papyrifera is a fast-growing, tall, clumping bamboo, from Yunnan, China, where it grows at an elevation close to 12000 feet. It has edible shoots. The new culms have persistent leaf sheaths, though as they drop they reveal stunning blueish-white culms.
